A breathtakingly pretty, fast-growing, flowering, evergreen climber / scrambler from Africa which is also frequently seen on Balaeric and Canary Islands.
Also known as ‘Pink Trumpet Vine’ it is closely related to the better known Campsis radicans and other members of the Tecomeae family.
As it is (eventually substantially) woody, it could in theory, also be grown as a shrub or dwarf tree.
The RHS say it is frost tender but it is known to grow back from light frosts and flowers in some parts of Cornwall.
One to dry against a wall in a sunny corner In a mild part of the country perhaps (or an easy grow in a conservatory for the rest of us)
(The plant in the pot is the size offered for sale)
